Meet Brian Rommes

Brian Rommes is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Ascendant Collaborative. He brings extensive leadership and consulting experience helping organizations improve execution, strengthen operations, develop leaders, and navigate complex organizational change across financial services, healthcare, technology, and higher education.

Brian currently serves as Director of Rural 1st Lending Support at Farm Credit Mid-America, where he leads strategic technology initiatives, operational improvements, and cross-functional business transformation efforts.

In addition to his consulting work, Brian is an adjunct professor at Indiana University Southeast and the University of Louisville, where he teaches business, operations management, project management, and information technology. He is passionate about developing leaders and equipping professionals with practical skills that create meaningful organizational impact.

Brian is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), serves as President-Elect of the Kentucky/Indiana PMI Chapter, and is a leadership coach, speaker, and facilitator. His work focuses on project management, operational excellence, leadership development, governance, organizational design, business architecture, and the practical application of artificial intelligence to improve organizational performance.
